Please join us for our annual Spring Clean Up! We'll be joining Park and community groups across the City in participating in the Streets Department's Philly Spring Clean Up event. We'll also have opportunities for trail work and maintenance for volunteers interested in getting the trails ready for the Spring and Summer months.
We will stage in the parking lot on Chamounix Drive across from Ridgeland Mansion and will work to clear the parking lots, woods and trails of trash and debris in the area bounded by Belmont Mansion Drive, Belmont Avenue, Edgely Drive and Chamounix Drive. Work gloves, clean up supplies, and light refreshments will be provided.
Rain Date is Sunday, April 6th 9:00 AM to 12 Noon

Please join Fairmount Park Conservancy staff for a seasonal planting event at Mongomery Avenue Enclosure in West Fairmount Park.
This community volunteer event is open to all ages but requires parental supervision for minors.
Please note: There is a 5-minute walk to reach the working site.

Removing invasive species

BACKGROUND
Concourse Lake in West Fairmount Park was officially dedicated as a Philadelphia Native Plant Park on June 9, 2012. Since then, a diverse collection of native trees and shrubs has been planted throughout the 14-acre site, enhancing the natural habitat and supporting local biodiversity.

Trail signage project if needed
We will provide all the tools, supplies, and materials for the workday, including gloves.
