Volunteer for our Kickoff Service Day on Saturday, May 10th!
Kick off LOVE Your Park Week by joining residents, community groups, and park friends from across Philadelphia for the LOVE Your Park Kickoff Service Day on Saturday, May 10th! Volunteers will come together at neighborhood parks throughout Philadelphia to maintain, clean, and beautify these natural and recreational treasures. Local park stewardship groups will have tools and supplies on hand at each location, so bring your work gloves and passion for Philly parks! Groups large and small as well as individuals welcome! Check out our Volunteer Page to find a park that fits you.
The LOVE Your Park program is a collaborative partnership between Philadelphia Department of Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy to steward and support neighborhood parks throughout Philadelphia. We work closely with neighborhood park friend groups to promote the network of parks across the city and the amazing work the friends groups do. Together we believe that community engagement in neighborhood parks – whether it be weekly gardening days or concert nights in the summer – is key to maintaining our City’s parks as anchors in our neighborhoods for safe, welcoming and family-friendly recreation.
