Second Saturday at Wissahickon Valley Park

Help preserve the forest restoration site in Andorra meadows! Join Phila Parks and Rec for a volunteer project to remove invasive shrubs and vines and protect young plantings so they can become our future forest! Please note that the there is parking at the Andorra Upper Lot. The project location will be a 10 min walk down the trail from the lot. The trail will be marked with signage.

Project leaders will be on site to guide the work. All tools and materials will be provided, including work gloves (though you're welcome to bring your own). Please note, restrooms are not available at this location and volunteers should bring plenty of water for themselves.

Remember to wear a mask, and to stay home if you experience COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case in the last 14 days. 

This event will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or thunder!
