cobbs creek cleanup 7

1st Saturdays Cobbs Creek Park Cleanup

Cobbs Creek Park, 63rd & Market
September 7th
9:00am – 11:00am

Join the Cobbs Creek Cleanup team to tackle the three Ts: trash, trails, and trees.

Volunteer Cobbs Creek Park ambassador Rich Guffanti will lead volunteers in cleaning up Cobbs Creek Park along 63rd & Market. Trash removal from trail, creek, and surrounding woods preserves this area for all to enjoy and prevents trash from traveling elsewhere in the watershed area.

Wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, long socks and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will supply all needed equipment, including waders for creek cleanups. Restrooms are not available, and bring water for yourself. The ambassador will let you know if the cleanup is postponed or canceled due to inclement weather!

If you let Rich know you're coming it's helpful but feel free to just show up. If you need to leave early it's no problem, it's flexible! Bringing a group? Give the ambassador an accurate headcount by the Thursday before the cleanup.

Please meet at the Northwest corner of 63rd & Lancaster.
