Art in the Open

Stotesbury Regatta

The Stotesbury Cup Regatta, sponsored by the Schuylkill Navy, is the world’s oldest and largest high school rowing competition.  Come to the Kelly Drive bleachers to watch and cheer on some of the best young rowing talent!

Bike to Work Day with Mayor Nutter

Philadelphia has the highest rate of bicycle commuting (per capita) of the nation’s 10 biggest cities. Celebrate that and join Mayor Nutter and other dignitaries for a short but sweet ride down the Parkway from the Rocky Steps to Love Park.

Garden Movie Night

Come to our FREE Garden Resource Fair to find out about gardening and food resources available to YOU from organizations and businesses all over the city! NSNP will host a garden resource fair in Las Parceles Gardens on May 18th from 2:00 – 6:00 PM.  The event will bring together partners, greening organizations, community members, and Philadelphia’s gardening community. The workshops will be focused on three tracks: Food, Land/Food Justice, and Gardening.

Historic Mansion Bike Tour of East Park and BYOB

Take the winding roads through East park for a guided tour of the historic mansions. Along the way, we will briefly stop in front of several mansions to discuss their unique history and finish with a tour of the lovely Woodford Mansion. The tour will return to Lloyd Hall where everyone is encouraged to stay and socialize at Cosmic Catering for food and live music. BYOB.
