“Keep Me Beautiful” by Nicole Chandler
Posted in Show Us Your Love 2012 Contest
Keep Me beautiful so my flowers can blossom, for children to pick.
Adore my beauty with colorful leaves to see seasons change.
Allow my growth to burst streaks of pastel through Forrest green.
It’s not just water falling from the Forrest, it’s me so wild and pretty.
I can be soft, fragile, delicate to touch or I can bare thorns, fierce, where I dare you to touch.
I’m so diverse there is no other creation that can compete.
Everyone stops, stares and say how Lovely.
It’s hard work, diligence, and effort that is timelessly, so it’s a must that you take care of me.
I’m all that you make me, I’m a reflection of you, so Keep Me Beautiful your Gardens in Bloom.
